How To Remember House of Friendship in Your Will

A bequest in your will is greatly appreciated and is one of the simplest forms of planned giving. There are several ways to make a bequest through your Will or Living Trust.

• BEQUEST BY PERCENTAGE is the donation of a fixed percentage of your estate. Since it does not specify the source of the funds, your Executor will honor the bequest from any available source in your estate.
• A SPECIFIC BEQUEST is a defined gift of cash, real estate, securities, etc.
• A RESIDUARY BEQUEST donates all, or a percentage of your remaining estate after all debts, expenses, and taxes have been paid, and all other bequests have been honored.
• A CONTINGENT BEQUEST takes effect only in the event that other bequests fail, e.g., if your beneficiary does not survive you.
